I was in suratkal for the fest. Not bad, but there wasn't much to do in the afternoons. So all i could do was hang around till my friend was free for lunch. So i was walking through the construction site(new hostel, around which all the old hostels are placed), and i saw her...
There are very few things i've seen in my life which would make me stop and stare, ignoring the very real dangers of the working construction site around me, but there she was...
She didn't see me, and stalking her seemed a bit creepy, but i couldn't help it. I had to follow. Follow until i saw an opportunity to say hi(Not that i'd ever be able to work up the courage for that).
So follow her i did. Over the hills and far away. When she finally reached the ad block, i whipped out my hindu crossword and sat down near the registration desk. I had to do something. Couldn't sit there staring like some idiot(which i was in fact, about to do). I noticed the badge on the cord around her neck. She was an nitk student. I figured she was probably in charge of something. Her movements seemed purposeful. She went into the reg room and came out with a sheaf of papers. She sat down at the desk, 4 feet away from me, and started going through the papers. I thought my lungs were about to burst(could've been my heart. not sure. I was a little preoccupied). But spineless that i am, i forced myself to face the newspaper and concentrate on the crossword.
Ages passed, oceans froze, mountains collapsed and the earth began afresh... At least, it seemed that long... I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked up, and there she was, looking at me, talking to me, smiling. I nearly proposed to her right there... Instead, i woke up and listened.
She wanted a pen.
I smiled a smile of purest joy.

Opportunity. :)
I read the part 2 before the part 1.
Does that make any difference? *cheeky+dorky-grin*
@jass - No difference man. No connection between the two cos they're both stuff i was dreaming about during class. To be precise, the first was conceived during 'special casting techniques' and the second during 'probability and statistics'... :)
