Hurl-a-thon

Dei Floor-man, I hope you realize that my policy of not mentioning names on my page would pretty much ruin any write-up i cared to do on yesterday's little soirée.

Anyway, the 2nd years of our club decided to give us an induction treat yesterday night, and we therefore assembled on Zircon terrace to try and have a good time. I'm not saying we didn't, i'm just pointing out that we were absolutely determined to have a good time.

Of course, the party was dampened rather by the beverage they decided to show up with, one "Marco Polo". I can confidently say that it was solely due to our explorer-sponsored-drink that I seriously considered Ass' lime-soda-idea. Eventually, the pepsi was the best thing.

As to what happened, well... people were in very high spirits(no pun intended), and there was much singing and brainstorming of t-shirt ideas interspersed with frenzied attempts at body-building(push ups) and sudden bursts of violence(i can now, speaking from personal experience, vouch for the fact that a 2-liter bottle of 7up in the right hands, makes for a very formidable weapon).

Eventually, most of us had a good time, some of us got bored and some of us don't remember either way, so might as well assume that we did have a good time.

All in all, not a bad first attempt by the 2nd years.
